What are Marketing Analytics?

Marketing Analytics are collections of valuable information (usually in report or presentation format) about your marketing efforts and their results. This is valuable information that your organization can use to grow and expand and (perhaps more importantly,) to save your business time and money.

Most companies use some form of marketing. This can vary from email campaigns and social media posts, placing ads on platforms such as Facebook, Amazon or Google, and even more direct methods such as sales calls and ad mailers. Data analytics is a powerful tool for measuring how effectively your marketing efforts are working- or in some cases, which marketing efforts are NOT working well. 

Marketing Analytics are developed to provide specific information that can be used to channel your time, energy and advertising budget directly to the marketing methods that bring your company the most success.

How can Marketing Analytics help MY business?

Marketing analytics is the process of finding specific, measurable information about how well your marketing efforts are performing. Identifying which marketing methods are the most effective can help your business reach new audiences, attract more sales, and focus on what actually works. When your marketing efforts are results-driven, it is able to grow and flourish much faster, without spending unnecessary time and energy on things that can sideline success.

The first step of marketing analytics is to identify the marketing goals that your organization is trying to achieve. This can be done as a company whole, or individually by team or department. For example, the sales team might have a different goal than the marketing department (close sales vs attract new audiences).

Once the goals are identified, we will collect the data on your current and past marketing efforts, such as the statistics of social media posts, website traffic, advertising platforms, etc. After we have all of the marketing history, we can run analyses and explore the reach and results of each marketing activity or campaign.

Next, we will provide you with a clear understanding (usually in a visual, presentation format) of our analyses, so you can see the results of the various advertising methods, post, campaign, etc that were explored.
